Midi - Old McDonald had a Farm
DOWN ON THE FARM

where the farmer's wife can use the eggs
to bake an apple pie to have with a mug
                                                                                               of coffee.

Now come along in and meet the family and all the animals

When the farmer is not tending his animals he likes to look after
his flowers - Red - Yellow - Pink - White - they all look so pretty.

The cats  and dogs romp around
and thensleep for hours in the lovely sunshine.
Oops! How did that get there!

I want to know how "YOU" got here -I will make you a little yard of
your own, so go on down to find it - that's a good Chick!.

Meanwhile - the children dance, sing and play on the swing beneath
the old oak tree.

Such a lot of hours pass by so quickly as they play, you can hear them
laughing and singing all day long.

Beyond the home yards you will find the farm animals feeding or resting
beneath the trees in their own fields.

That is better and I found you a few friends too!
I made you a pretty yard so - be good chicks for me now :-)

The cows spend all day grazing in the fields, beneath the shady oak tree.
The grass the cows eat is the food that helps them make the milk
for us to drink.
Do you see the cows licking the salt block? Cows need to do
this to stay healthy. I think they like it, can you see their ears moving!
The cows are milked early every morning and in the early evening.

The horses help with the work on the farm and when the work is done they like
to rest and eat
- sometimes the children can ride them when
the horses have rested.

The lambs frolic in the fields and love jumping fences, their fluffy white
wool makes the sweaters that keep you warm in the winter.

Then at nightfall         when all are asleep

"Night Owl" is there to watch over them!
